Sidekicks Café - Madison

In the city for a weekend getaway and we looked at the reviews of this restaurant, so we thought we would try. I had the sram plate that was special, and my wife ordered the Omelet. The agitator was good, but something too salty. The Omelet was not good. It was made with canned mushrooms and lunch meat for ham. The juice from the mushrooms ran over the plate and made the bottom of the cookie all soggy that you can see it in the image I attached. It was so salty my wife could only eat the egg of it that was a little over boiled. If I lived here, I would definitely give it another attempt, because I would always like to give people the advantage of doubt and try them at least twice, but since we are outside the city, not able to do this. On a positive note, the cookies were delicious and the engraving of my Scramble plate would have made amazing cookies and Gravy. The service was wonderful and the staff was very nice. After taxes and tips, we spent about $35 without drinks. The price was not a big thing for us because we understand the high cost of everything at the moment, only thought I would let people know. The portion sizes were huge, so the food costs were appropriate with what you received me?t feel cheated at all with the costs.

My wife?s best friend flew in to visit so I was looking for a breakfast spot that would have diner food with high quality and wasn?t a chain restaurant. Sidekick Cafe hit the mark perfectly. I had the country ham with my breakfast plate and it was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The hash brown casserole was good, not the best I?ve had but good. The biscuits were light, and the gravy had chunks of sausage in it. They have several coffee options which was nice. The women working were very nice and even brought out some Cinnamon Rolls for us because, ?sometimes we like to spoil people?. The cinnamon roll was the best I?ve had in a long time.

I found this place today called Sidekicks Cafe. It was so damn good! Best Pimento Cheese Bacon Burger! Big desserts I came home with 5 of them. They haven't tried yet, but they look great! The staff was so welcoming, sweet, friendly and attentive. From the boss Karen! Love as we have the same name! I will return to try the whole menu as there are so many I want to eat.

This place was a garbage fire. If I came in, you could fill out the hostility of the staff. Not to customers, but to other employees. They were not excessively busy, but the employees were very tense and sniffy to each other. Anyway, I ordered a breakfast sandwich, bacon egg and cheese to go along with a cinnamon roll. When they finished my job and gave me, I checked him, and they gave me a piece of cake and a Pimento Bacon sandwich... I told them their fault, and they brought him back to destroy it. In the meantime I sat down, waited a few minutes, and an older lady from behind came to me and asked me why I didn't want the Pimento Bacon sandwich she had made for me. I told her that it wasn't what I ordered, and pointed to my reception, she made a gruesome sound and asked me that, as I didn't order it, maybe I could tell her who did that. I was a loss because I didn't know this answer, especially because I was at the one order, I still work there. She stood next to me and started a few seconds while she was looking around. Then she tore the bag with the wrong order on my table and left. She never said another word. Confidently, I took the bag back on the counter and told them I was still on my right order. They were under the impression that the bag I was given was the right order. I explained that it was not, showed it to them again and they sent it back to be restored. The lady on the back obviously didn't like it, and verbally complained about it. I've already decided on the confrontation without going to my order, and I'll let the credit card company deny the charges.

Find amazing! While we drove through Nashville, we found this GEM. Super friendly environment and great staff. The loaded cookie was amazing! Back home made cookies was perfect and the eggs were so fluffy it was a perfect combination. The fiancée got the ham sandwich with Gouda and pineapple and loved it! The latte was made with honey and vanilla and it tasted great. 1000% recommend stopping from this gem!
