Wow! Adam was our bartender and he's great! I ordered a bacon Cheeseburger minus the bungalow and he offered him to make a salad pack!! It was fantastic. Great customer service! Thank you.

I was here to drink, and I was here to eat and drink. Unfortunately, I haven't been here since COVID. I had burgers and the fish roasts several times and they were always great. When I came with people, they agreed. I'll be back soon, probably for the fish stable. And I have to try the summer sausage sandwich!

This place is a hidden treasure. I risk hipsters infecting it by saying. The lunch and dinner specials are enormous, the cook is laser fast, the offers and waiters are attentive. Prices are far lower than places like Dexters or the Tip Top and the food is so delicious. I definitely recommend a burger or the Friday fisherman. A wonderful working class bar that unfortunately lacks in the “New Madison”. ‘

Best baked cod in Madison. Every Friday, the owner personally cooks a limited number of baked cod dishes. When they're gone, they're gone. Come early if you want to try to offer the best arm-man's-lobster Madison.

As neighborhood bars go, this is one of the best in Madison! Friendly staff fast service. 1/4 or 1/2 pound Cheeseburgers on a buttered toasted bun are top notch. Fries are thick cut and not too deep fried. Always enjoy my visits when I get my cheeseburger cravings! Thanks! PS I’m only scoring on food staff because I don’t drink alcohol.
