Village Pizza - Madison

$2 TACO TUESDAYS are absolutely the best here! The authentic street tacos and Horchata are amazing! From what I've experienced, there's nothing quite like it in or around downtown. My favorite was the Pastor taco. Every Tuesday, they also offer a complete Latin menu! And no, this isn’t a mistake! They do have a full Mexican menu available; they just haven't fully launched it yet.

I had an overall positive experience! I ordered a deep-dish pizza, so there was a bit of a wait, but it wasn't too long. The restaurant did have a minor fly issue, but fortunately, they quieted down by the time we started eating. It's clearly a family-run establishment, as a child who seemed to be the chef's son came out and joined my boyfriend and me, asking us to draw with him. It was a little unusual, but he was a really sweet kid. The pizza was delicious and reasonably priced! I'll definitely be back again.

I had no idea that Village Pizza was nearby until recently. I was craving pizza, and most places I found online were closed. So, I decided to give Village Pizza a try. It took me a bit of effort to locate it since it's tucked away behind IHOP. The prices were more reasonable compared to other pizza places in town, and the pizza itself was delicious! The sauce was fantastic, and the crust was tasty as well. While I usually prefer a thinner crust, it wasn't a deep-dish style either. Overall, it was a great experience!

This place is so, so, so good. All of the sandwiches are to die for (my favorites are the grilled chicken, chicken parmesan, or meatball sub), the taco tuesday deals are outstanding, and the sweet bites are one of the best desserts I've ever had. Plus, the owners are extremely nice and down-to-earth. All really well priced and high quality!
