Waroeng Spesial Sambal Ss Madiun

Today I went there to take away some food. because in ramadhan the ss is usually quite crowded. I buy a variant of sambal, there are sambal hijau, sambal matah, sambal udang sampai sambal trasi and cha kangkung. the price is about 2000 to 9000 per sambal. it depends on what kind of sambal. then I bought cha kangkung and it is affordable. the taste is always really good. I love it. it feels like home and made home

Ordered a variety of the menu and even asked for an additional portion of rice to finish off the remaining side dishes. The food is flavourful enough. The fried duck and tripe was cooked well, soft enough to chew easily. The Ca Kangkung was good. The Terancam was a bit different from my expectations of the type I usually have which consists mostly of cucumbers, grated coconut spices up with chilli whereas here, it seems more like an even mixture of cucumbers, grated coconut and chilli mix, bean sprouts and kemangi . My husband said The Sambal Jengkol was less flavourful (the jengkol only had a coating of seasoning and not soaked in it) and undercooked as the jengkol was a bit too hard from his usual texture of Sambal Jengkol but nevertheless the sambal was fresh. The Sambal Belut was a bit too spicy for me too but still tasted good. The watermelon juice I ordered also had the perfect amount of sweetness and was very refreshing. Would definitely come back another time for a meal worthy of the price and a wide selection to choose from. Recommended for family meals as me and my family also have always dined in other SS branches in Indonesia (Depok, Jakarta) repeatedly since more than 7 years ago.
