Wild Winds Station - Madras

I had a wonderful time with delicious food and enjoyed some fantastic banter with the bartenders.

The food was excellent, and Brittany was incredibly helpful and courteous! The chicken fried steak was absolutely delicious.

What a delightful little spot! I stopped here while heading to Bend, and I was thrilled with the chicken strips—they were amazing and quite generous in portion size! Each strip was more than double what I typically expect. The BBQ sauce and tater tots were also excellent. The ambiance is charming, with floor-level and bar seating as well as a half-level that overlooks the rest of the restaurant. If I lived nearby, I would definitely return!

Cool little bar/restaurant in Madras. Looks to be a local hangout for a cold beer and really good food. Brittany our waitress was great and was helping several customers at once without a hiccup. The outside of the building doesn't do what's going on inside any justice. This place is cool!

We ordered to go and it was EXCELLENT. The steak in the steak salad was cooked perfectly medium rare (as per request), the full order of chicken tenders was perfectly crispy and crusted, and the bacon cheeseburger was perfectly juicy topped with fresh ingredients. The service was fast and friendly and got everyone's order right. We will definitely come back next time we pass thru! And get the tots over the fries, they were perfect!
