Tripea - Madrid

Its my second trip to Tripea and I must say that I enjoyed this trip even more. It will be hard to decipher what the dishes were composed of, as there is no menu and I could barely hear the explanation when the plates arrived. One should expect a very casual and noisy setting in the market, and just relax to enjoy the meal. To start we had some great fresh salmon in a mango leche de tigre sauce, then wild mushrooms in a hummus/cream of egg sauce, the mussels with rice was good but I would have enjoyed a slight touch of spice and lemon in there, the fried wontons with a mole sauce were delicious and I wanted more, baby chicken was succulent and to top it all off was the fried Carbacho in a wonderful oriental tangy sauce. That was probably the best part of the meal. The dessert of a pear mouse with something else, was Ok but nothing WOW. Anyway I strongly recommend this place. The value is very very good for what you get.

The menu was good with some exquisite and memorable dishes Service was average and looked a bit random. Menu was not shared at the beginning so advisable to look at it beforehand. Quantities in each of the dishes varied quite a bit. The worst part of a good dinner experience was the environment in the market. Way too hot which at most invited for the coldest drinks rather than a pleasurable meal

Totalmente recomendable. La comida buenísimo y el trato y el servicio fue fenomenal. Todos los trabajadores muy profesionales y simpáticos. Enhorabuena por el gran trabajo que hacéis.

Excelente. De los mejores menús degustación que he probado. Buenísima combinación de sabores. 60€ en enero 2024, hay opción de sumar un extra, su ostra francesa, y ya que vas... Gran atención del personal. A pesar de estar en una larga mesa en el mercado, hay buen ambiente, al menos entre semana. La música de fondo sin estar alta, hay distancia suficiente entre un comensal y otro como para que no te estorben. Interesantes vinos. Sin duda, Tripea esta muy en lo alto en Madrid, y a un precio que no es volverse loco como en otros rest con chefs y o cocinas de renombre. Para repetir cada vez que cambien el menú, jajaja
