Fudo Ramen - Mahopac

Fantastic food! The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. It's refreshingly unpredictable. I love the concept of a pop-up kitchen delivering within a dine-in setting.

The delivery was incredibly fast, but I wouldn't describe the food as authentic Japanese cuisine. I ordered Shoyu ramen, and when I mixed the noodles with the soup, it tasted overwhelmingly like soy sauce. It didn't even resemble traditional ramen, just stirred noodles. If you're craving genuinely authentic Japanese food, I'd recommend going to Fujinoya in Hartsdale instead.

I visited the Fudo Ramen takeover at Dish Bistro last Monday, and it was absolutely amazing! What a fantastic way to introduce this delivery-only restaurant to the area! This is the first time I've encountered a delivery-only concept, and I think it’s really innovative that they chose to have a temporary pop-up to promote their new business. I tried the super spicy ram shell, and it was phenomenal! Sometimes spiciness can overpower a dish, but the flavors were incredibly rich. The addition of black sesame was a nice touch as well. Honestly, it was some of the best ramen I've ever had, and I've tried quite a few in town. It definitely stands out! I placed an order for delivery this week and can’t wait for my next meal. This area truly needed Fudo Ramen! I highly recommend it!

The website is not clear that this is part of Dish Restaurant in Mahopac. I brought my family to get takeout and was said it is only open one day a week, the hours on the website included daily offers and 12pm-7pm listed as available. At 1:00 a.m. on Sunday the waiter at Dish said Rarmen is only available one day a week and we couldn't get out unless he tried very hard... we decided to have Drama free food and went to Thai. I bet the raven is good, but this place must organize itself to deliver a reliable product. Ah.
