Well the change of ownership wasnt good we will now go elsewhere! Very strange chips and not crispy batter, but fish inside ok

Eaten at this place a number of times. The fish and chips are always flavoursome, hot and well priced. This place does not deserve a 2 star review. Honestly the chips here are the best I've had in Maidstone. Give it another try.

The fish was still hot and so where the chips the only thing I would say is when u order a small chips there is anuff for 2 if u don't eat a lot

I buy fish and chips for the family every week and usually go to A Z at Linton, but thought I would give this shop a try as it is much nearer to home. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! I bought 2 sausages and large chips. The sausages were stale and disgusting, and the chips cold, old and stale. Clearly it had all been cooked a long time ago. Frankly the worst food I have ever had from a chippy. Called them to speak to owner or manager and was told nobody was available, and the guy I spoke to clearly couldn't care less. A total waste of money, but you can be sure they will never get my custom again and I will warn everybody I know not to go there. Should have gone to A Z at Linton where the food is ALWAYS good! If I could give them zero rating I would! I feel totally conned out of £7.40 for disgusting rubbish food!

Avoid this place. Went in to buy peri peri chicken and chips, was told they don’t do it. I then ordered fried chicken and chips and was eventually given breast pieces and a small box of chips cost £6.00. When I asked for the drink, I was given a fruit shoot so I said this is a child’s drink and was then told it was for the child’s meal
