Bidra med feedbackNo atmosphere at all, inattentive staff, food not good, frozen roast potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding. We arrived at 1pm and they had run out of roast beef which was a surprise considering there were only four other diners in the restaurant!! Was here a year ago and it was full up but hardly anyone in here yesterday. We won't eat here again.
So disappointed sunday lunch such a big disappointment I don't think a Sunday lunch should be served with frozen roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding Aswell . This was well and truly a shame
Beautiful traditional pub.Excellent Sunday lunch, couldn't fault it!Delicious homemade soups, roast meats cooked perfectly with a great selection of vegetables, tasty puddings to finish, they also serve a great pint! All the staff were delightful, polite and attentive, nothing was too much trouble,we'll be back.
Have been coming here for a number of years, as have family very close by. Always a big welcome by Renata, Dave and the team, who looked after the local community throughout lockdown with very reasonably priced takeaways. The food is very good, especially the Sunday Roasts !. Big garden for the summer and cosy fires in the winter. Family and dog friendly.
We recently stayed on the campsite behind this lovely pub, due to COVID we ate outside a couple of evenings, the food was lovely and we were served by Betty, she is a delight, a lovely friendly young lady.Surrounded by beautiful countryside we had some lovely walks, we will be back thank you so much.
