Starbucks - Malahide

Dirty, Dirty , Dirty The place is a disgrace, dirty tables and dirty floors. Weeds growing out side entrance. Staff didn't listen to order and just so uninterested in being at work. Went to toilets and almost vomited. They have never seen bleach. Absolutely no excuse for a premises to be this dirty. Who ever the manager is they should be ashamed !!!

As a frequent visitor to this establishment, I regret to say that my experience this evening was a complete disaster. I ordered two drinks from a server who appeared to have trouble understanding my order. I was surprised that she did not ask for my name or inquire whether I wanted the drinks to go or to be enjoyed in-store. After waiting for 20 minutes next to the pick-up counter with my partner, and witnessing four other customers who had ordered after me receive their drinks, I approached the barista to inquire about our order. I was informed that there was an issue with the label machine, which had caused a delay in preparing our drinks as my order had not been received. I asked why our order had not been acknowledged or any communication provided regarding the delay, only to be told by the barista that he had not taken my order. The server seemed unaware of the situation and simply stated that there was a printer issue. I have decided not to return as a regular customer, as it appears that the staff lacks proper understanding of customer service. I had to request a refund to my card and left the establishment 25 minutes later without receiving my coffee.

After work, I stopped by for a coffee at this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not very clean and the toilet facilities were out of order. The staff, especially the girl making the coffees, were rude. The milk jugs were empty and when I informed her, no effort was made to refill them. There were also ants at the sugar station. Customers were cleaning tables in order to sit down outside, indicating they had not been cleared recently. Despite these issues, I must admit that the coffee was good.

Too many staff, never once did anyone come beyond the counter to clean a table or lift cups etc. Toilets were just discusting!

Great location for this Starbucks as it’s located in the centre of everything and on the edge of the Marina. Good service and nice outdoor seating.
