Brasserie- X - Malmoe

Do not overlook this restaurant just because it is located in a hotel. The food is actually quite good. The service could be a bit faster, but it's not a major issue. It's advisable to book a table or arrive early, especially during peak times like a fair. See you there. Pierre.

This place delivers in every aspect. As I work in Hyllie, this place is a blessing far away from Emporias terrible food court. Well balanced menu and plate of the day, great salad bar and impeccable service from Ramona et al always greeted by a smile! You're welcome, Hyllie.

We visited Brasserie X as part of our visit at Quality Hotel View. The woman seating us and servicing our table was named Hanna (or something close to that). I have never experienced such a deliberately bad service from anyone in any other country. Out visit: We had a package deal, so upon arrival we were greeted with the information that the paper slip saying sembo should be provided. When checking in this was not informed, but we went back to our room getting the slip saying 20.00 without complains. We were seated and got a water bottle before Hanna left the table. No glasses provided until we asked ourselves. When she returned she asked if we wanted starter and main or main and desert. No information about what dishes?? So we asked and got this answer: starter is smoked salmon, main is chicken and desert is pannacotta . Naturally I asked what comes with the chicken, just to receive the answer potatoes . When asked what else she simply said sauce and could not state which one before checking with the kitchen. We tried to order one starter+main and one main+desert which was not possible apparently. Starter with salmon was good, but served straight away within 10 minutes of arrival, so clearly the reason for our briskly waitress attitude was not busy times or she could just have waited a bit with the food. No bread was provided. When she asked us what we wanted to drink, she would not provide us with a menu. We requested wine menu several times but she just stated they had either beer, red wine or white wine. When we asked for wine she only informed house wine was from Italy, and still would not give a menu. We ordered the house white wine from Italy , it was fine. As written the starter was served quickly and followed by the main menu. Chicken with sauce and potatoes but more importantly very nice aspargus and spinach. We left the restaurant wondering what we did to offend this waitress or if she simply hated everyone in the restaurant that day. Not a single move of courtesy through the dinner. Not a single smile or thank you or sorry when appropriate. Would not recommend this to anyone enjoying just a tiny bit of normal manners while this waitress works there. Chef seems to know what he/she is doing and other staff working there did seem to know how to work at a restaurant.

My number one place for lunch around Hyllie. The food is consistently delicious and good size portions. Great salad bar and little sweets for your coffee after. Service is unbeatable. Every single time I came there in a middle of a lunch rush hour and was always met with a smile and professionalism. Highly recommend!

I had dinner at this restaurant, located within a quality hotel. I requested a vegan meal as I prefer not to eat unhealthy and old-fashioned red meat dishes. However, I was disappointed to receive mainly potatoes and a few asparagus spears with no protein included. I was surprised that the chef couldn't cook a proper vegan meal - are we in Sweden or a developing country? The lack of effort put into the meal was unacceptable - they should send the chef back to school.
