Saltimporten Canteen - Malmoe

I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch, and I must say it was an experience worth every mile traveled. **Food: 5/5** I ordered the fish dish of the day, and it was nothing short of amazing! The fish was incredibly fresh, bursting with rich flavors that truly elevated the meal. The sauce had a delightful kick to it, enhancing the overall taste and making the dish unforgettable. **Service: 5/5** The staff here were super friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Their attentiveness and warmth really stood out. **Ambiance: 4/5** The restaurant is located in a somewhat remote and less populated commercial district. While the area might not be the largest, the restaurant itself is very clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delightful meal in a cozy setting. It’s definitely a place I plan to visit again!

I had a type of raw meat this time, and it was actually quite good compared to the time I accidentally had a raw hamburger in France. It can get a bit loud when sitting indoors, but on a sunny day, sitting outside while watching the ships come and go in Malmö makes for a lovely escape from the nearby restaurants.

One of our favorite lunch spots in Malmö. The vegetarian plate is consistently excellent, and they bake their own sourdough every day. The sourdough is as good as we’ve had anywhere (like at House in San Francisco and Sacramento!). I don't want to sound too much like Paul Hollywood, but just take a look at the broth structure in the photo below!

En av Malmös bästa lunchställen. Det finns alltid minst två alternativ på menyn, och det finns alltid ett vegetariskt alternativ. Det är populärt året runt, och det kan vara svårt att få ett bord under rusningstid för lunch. Men rotationen är också ganska snabb, så i värsta fall får du vänta några minuter. Personalen är oerhört trevlig och vänlig. Man kan verkligen känna att de trivs med att driva det här stället.

Jag älskar er mat, ni är fantastiska! Tyvärr måste jag hålla med kommentaren här nedan, att när jag äter i Kaféet har jag alltid gett er 5, men på festivalens kiosk skulle jag säga 3. Kebab var definitivt utsökt, såserna var fantastiska och balanserade köttsmaken väldigt bra, och syran från den inlagda gurkan var ett fantastiskt tillskott. Vad jag inte gillade var att det var svårt att äta, kanske om brödet skars i 4 bitar? Tyvärr hade både jag och min sambo magproblem under natten.
