Bua Thai Sushi - Malta

This restaurant has a really cute space and location. Charming atmosphere. The food is pretty good, but I got a green curry and it was rather oddly flavoured. It also seemed to have some sort of dairy product, which I wasn't expecting, though I didn't say anything to the server to be fair. It just tasted odd, not quite like green curry. I enjoyed the drunken noodles with shrimp, which were packed with flavor. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 3.

We enjoyed every aspect of the food—especially the curry, chicken dumplings, and stir-fries—and the service was excellent. The only minor issue was that our friendly waitress served the drinks and appetizers at the same time as the main course. Discovered Bua Thai Sushi just recently and so happy to have enjoyed take out 3 times now. Their sushi, apps, and meals have been consistently fresh, delicious, with reasonable portions for the price. I find some of their add on sauces a bit pricey but that said, I have rarely wished I had more sauce. Maybe once for take out pad thai that was 'take out delivered ' by the time it arrived the sauce had soaked into the rice noodle and it was a bit dry. I have had pad thai that we picked up 2 others times and it was perfect! Even though we have never dined in, I gave atmosphere 5 stars because it is really nice inside and hope to enjoy dining in one day soon.
