The Blue Ball Inn, Malton

I did notice someone arrived late for dinner, which is unfortunate. Even the kitchen staff need their breaks. If you come at the right time, you won’t be disappointed. Don’t expect them to operate a bare-bones kitchen; what they serve is exceptional. This place goes far beyond the basic Yorkshire fare.

I had an absolutely amazing seafood paella that was packed with juicy, fresh, and plump seafood. It tasted fabulous—without a doubt, it was the best I've ever had. And all for an incredible price of just £9.95, complemented by well-kept beer. Many thanks to Chris Gary!

The best place for food in Malton. Local, old fashioned pub that knocks out the very best in food. Exceptional dishes including fillet steak and trimmings £15. There is nowhere quite like Malton for food and the blue ball has it all
