Bidra med feedbackWish could give 0 stars. Worst customer service ever. Rudest owner, had an issue with an online order and blaming us that why we ordered online. Their website directs you to slice app to place an order and was told it's our fault we placed the order through them. This was my 2nd time I tried this place and had bad experience both times. Would stay away from it, have lot of better options and good customer service in the neighborhood
1st time here and I too wanted to give a 5 star rating. So quick background I am not a professional cook but I do pretty well for myself cooking over 30 years. I make a great seafood risotto, short ribs and other Italian dishes. We made reservations for 5:00 p.m. and were the only table in the restaurant so the disconnect on their end really in my opinion should not have happened. So rating the service alone with our waitress Josephine would easily get 5 stars. A great pleasure and excellent at her job. The pizza would easily get 5 stars excellent wood fired pizza if you like thin crust. I went for the short rib special and rissoto with garlic spinach. Those of you that have made risotto at home know from beginning to end is easily 25 to 30 minutes to make. I understand restaurants have shortcuts and they can do it in a fraction of that time as everything is par cooked. While my dinner came out without the risotto and in 2 minutes time the risotto showed up at the table piping hot right out of the microwave. Not the way to make or finish risotto. It was not done and was steaming hot due to the microwave of trying to get on my plate with dinner. The $35 short ribs special was extremely fatty and the portion was surprisingly small and not real hot. Needless to say I would give my dinner a one star rating. My wife had a pork chop that was a bit greasy.
Giving a one star review, as tonight, we dined in at a restaurant totally ignoring COVID-19 guidelines. We were seating to a spacious dining room, until an hour later when every table was filled and we were closer to other diners than we have been in many months. As a reference, guidelines in NJ at the moment state that restaurants can hold guests at 50% capacity to ensue proper social distancing. If other restaurants are safely adhering to these guidelines, why shouldn't Capri? The restaurant was packed to the brim, and on top of that, not one staff member was wearing a mask. The owner actually served the food to our table maskless, and the man making pizzas also was not wearing a mask. I have gone to many local restaurants since they reopened last year, and not one other dining experience left me and my family feeling this way. My mom is immunocompromised, and when she brought up to our waitress that she was beginning to feel uncomfortable, she simply replied and said she got the vaccine and so it didn't apply to her. The owner did not come over, did not apologize, and we left feeling very disturbed. If you are looking for a safe, assuring dining experience, go elsewhere at the moment.
Absolutely amazing! First time trying this spot and very impressed. I had the butterflied 16oz Veal chop Milanese…no comparison. A must try! Our waitress Josephine, second to none! All around great night!
Had dinner with my family at Capri tonight. The food was by far the most authentic and delicious Italian food I have had in a long time. Our waitress Josephine was amazing. Great job Capri!
