La Rosa Chicken Grill Manalapan

The food is of excellent quality and reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and attentive. You really can't go wrong here.

The food was very disappointing! I ordered a quarter chicken with two sides. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor, and the mashed potatoes were only lukewarm—I had hoped they would at least taste better with gravy, but they didn’t. The last side was rice, which was hard and unappetizing. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. Additionally, the staff seemed uninformed about the ingredients in their dishes. I specifically asked about a potential allergen, and they assured me there was none, but I ended up having an allergic reaction and had to rush to get Benadryl before my throat closed up. I cannot fake an allergic reaction, so it's clear that the staff has no understanding of what is in the food. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had.

The location is fantastic, the food is consistently fresh, and both the staff and owners are welcoming and friendly.
