The atmosphere, chocolate, and people at this restaurant are all fantastic. I appreciate how much attention they put into sourcing their ingredients and supplies. The chocolate itself is delicious, especially the Mayan drinking chocolate we tried. It was decadent and perfectly balanced in terms of spice and sweetness, allowing the quality of the chocolate to shine through. I will definitely be returning.

I recently took part in a secret santa gift exchange and was gifted chocolate from this restaurant. As a fan of making and tasting luxurious chocolates, I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the chocolates. Each piece was like a piece of art. When I found out that they came from Richard's shop, I was thrilled! Richard is the chocolatier who motivated me to begin making chocolates myself. If you want to impress someone or are unsure of what to give as a gift, you can't go wrong with this chocolate.

The drinking chocolate is excellent and the chocolate they make here is just as much artwork as it is edible candy. The adjectives used to describe the chocolate can be a bit obtuse, but it?s designer, gourmet chocolate so if they want to call a piece of chocolate ?spectacular,? ?mysterious,? or ?ambitious,? it seems fitting. I never ate a piece of chocolate more slowly as I tried to taste the notes of flavor in the chocolate. The blue chocolate bar we ate looked like acomputer motherboard but tasted fantastic.

I was completely impressed by how incredible this restaurant was. When we mentioned we were from Puerto Rico, we discovered that Richard had a connection to a cacao farmer there. He was incredibly knowledgeable about chocolate and was very welcoming. We tried the mallorca sandwiches, a traditional Puerto Rican dish, and they were incredibly authentic, just like something you would find in grandma's kitchen! I also had the sweet hot chocolate, which was rich and truly delicious. It was like hearing your favorite song with high-quality headphones for the first time - the flavor was so deep. We ended up buying some chocolate bars, which, although more expensive than regular ones, were absolute works of art. Richard was kind enough to give us his recommendations and it was clear that each piece was carefully crafted for both taste and appearance. This place is a solid 10/10 and I highly recommend it to any chocolate lover!

The hot chocolate is just heavenly. And don't get me started with the mallorcas.....those transported me to my native Puerto Rico with its aroma and flavor. Not surprised at the quality of their products after chatting with Richard....his knowledge, enthusiasm and love for the cacao industry is just second to none.
