Bidra med feedbackA small escapade in the Mandailles valley lets presume a gourmet moment made in Auvergne. In this well-known restaurant in the valley it is not to seem to pass next to the calf ris. Plat served only on Sunday. Otherwise, of course, the biggest specialties of this beautiful region are present on the map: potato, truite with bacon, the famous truffle of Cantal, cheeses, blueberry pie... The result is not exceptional but I could describe this discovery as correct. The calf ris are cooked without leaving in the mouth the expected flavors, the truffle does not really look like a good truffle worthy of this name is to say with potatoes past to the stove and a little grilled and not cooked to the water. But the whole thing is good enough to spend a good time but without necessarily having the idea of renewing the experience. The salmon stuffer is excellent. As for the blueberry pie, you can't imagine finding the flavours of the little wild blueberries of Puy-Mary. The millefeuille announced as a speciality of the house also does not leave a memorable memory. Just correct. But we can when to say that everything is done at home and that is to be emphasized. The service is pleasant and well oiled.
From this hotel I have travelled in 3 circuits directly from Mandailles in loops. Very beautiful and good place to rest after these steps. Quiet place, comfortable room, impeccable service, beautiful atmosphere and delicious dishes for me. Thank you.
We were shocked! Warm service, gargantue plates and quality (special lion for the tin and the Gentiane sauce). We'll come back to taste the famous millefeuille!
Lunch in June 2023 to 2 on trek route. Nice and tasty welcome. Correct rates. It's a place to recommend.
