The food was good; I had the shrimp po' boy, and the shrimp were perfectly battered. The fries could be of better quality. It's definitely better to enjoy the meal there rather than take it to go.

This restaurant has a relaxed vibe where you place your order at the counter, and the staff brings your food to the table. From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. The server was friendly and offered great suggestions for sauces to complement my oyster po'boy. The fried oyster po'boy was fantastic—perfectly cooked with a crunchy exterior that wasn’t greasy at all. I also appreciated that there was no waiting in line or for a table. However, it did begin to get busy as I was leaving.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They provided great recommendations on what to order and offered helpful table service, which you don't often find in this type of establishment—definitely embodies that warm Southern hospitality. Coming from California, I found the sweetness here to be quite overwhelming (just a hint of sarcasm, of course). I tried the Mahi Mahi tacos with fried green tomatoes, and the tomatoes were spot on—thickly sliced with a perfectly light batter. The tacos were good, but I’m just not a fan of flour tortillas; it’s not something I’m used to as a Latino! Other than that, everything was delicious. My family loved the sweet treats I brought home, and even though I usually find pecan pie unappealing, the mini pecan pies were a pleasant surprise that we all enjoyed!
