The Hummingbird Waterside Cafe

An entirely vegan cafe with lovely service and a nice array of products for the vegan community. 10 out of 10 from me! Their sister cafe (The Hummingbird Cafe) is two doors down and they also provide some vegan options as well.

Menu is a bit confusing as it is on the same menu as the other Hummingbird Cafe that serves meat etc a couple of doors away, so wasn't sure if meat was on offer in this restaurant or not. Ordered the Mac n Cheese Bite, it was presented nicely, but inside it was made with penne pasta not macaroni. It was very oily and a bit bland. Went back a second time for lunch. The Arancini was exactly the same as the Mac n Cheese Bite I had last time but my husband ate it anyway Updated from previous review on 2022-09-14

Today we ate the nacho’s with jack fruit so yummy great choice!

Very disappointing. I ordered avocado on toast and I can only assume they ran out of avocado and there was none at the shops. Barely any avo on it and what there was was browning and clearly passed its best. Bf ended up giving me some of his avo to bulk it up. Service was sub-par. Would give 0 stars if possible.

This spacious vegan café is located on the Mandurah waterfront promenade, offering plenty of shaded outdoor seating. They have an excellent selection of vegan dishes that are not commonly found elsewhere. The service is quick and friendly, making it one of our favorite stops when we return from a holiday in the Southwest to Perth.
