Zincshade - Manhattan Beach

We had reserved an outside table but decided to drive indoors because it was chilly. Were had a party of 5 and were surprised to find there were no tables at all for more than 4. We had to add a chair to a 4 or split up. The food is fine, but the portions were incredibly small. We all ordered the soup and sandwich lunch combo. At order restaurants you receive a healthy size sandwich, but these cut into quarters and were more like tea sandwiches or something off an hors d’oeuvres tray. That being said, nice service and the food was nicely prepared.

The service, food, and atmosphere were all fantastic, and the live music by Dallas Greene was incredible. Had a great evening out!

We visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day to celebrate, and we ordered the pork chop which was incredibly flavorful and well seasoned. My partner enjoyed the lobster risotto, although we wished there was a bit more risotto and less asparagus puree. The peach cobbler was the perfect ending to our meal! The manager and a runner were both very attentive, with the runner quickly bringing me a new utensil when my entree arrived. I would highly recommend the chicken empanadas, and our server suggested the crispy rice which was delicious and came in generous portions of 4.

The food was great, the plates were big especially for a breakfast size. We’ll definitely come again.
