Winn's Cafe Grill - Mannford

YES. What a wonderful surprise! While I rated Atmosphere a bit low, that is not what my wife and I were looking for. The food was outstanding (we ordered variations of the same dish). I can 't remember the name of it it was a Mexican styled/flavor sausage potato veggie blend topped with over medium eggs. I had hash brown sides. A minor point but for me a score is the ice. That 's a not big deal for most for me though, Winn 's ice is a Win! They have that small icey type instead of larger pieces or cubes. That made the soda and tea better (for me) than usual. Also setting this small cafe apart the employees! Everyone that I can recall was smiling and joyful. The joy was authentic not a required kind of can I help you? type of joy. It was a hometown/small town kind of welcome. This is off the normal tollway travel and many are in a hurry to get somewhere fast. Going here will add some time to get to your destination. If you have time to slow life down just a little, take the detour.

It was my first time and l Liked The Girl That Served Me... And They Were Kind And Friendly... Their Food Was Good... It Seems Like A Down Home Kinda Place!!! I guess they have closed down. Drove out there and the phones are off and the doors are locked. Too bad. I brought friends from Stillwater out.

Food was absolutely great! Young waiters, not so much. They were fine. Have our orders and food quickly, but they didn't even smile.

Very friendly staff and very clean. I love the fact that you can sit there while waiting for your food to be cooked you can see into the kitchen while they prepare your food.
