Angeno's Pizza - Maple Grove

We visited as a family after a hockey tournament and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, and our food was served quickly. The pizza here is amazing, and I particularly recommend the thin crust. Some of our group tried the lasagna and fettuccine alfredo, both of which were excellent as well. The pasta dishes came with a side salad and garlic bread—definitely don't skip the cheese on the garlic bread! We will definitely be returning!

I only visit restaurants that I believe are worth my time, so if I haven't reviewed a place, it's either because I haven't eaten there yet or it doesn't meet my standards. That said, this restaurant has been one of my favorites for years. I used to love their buffet, which offered everything from pizza and salad to pasta, chicken, and biscuits. Unfortunately, the buffet is no longer available. However, they do have an outstanding "special" Angenos pizza that is a must-try. It's consistently delicious every time I order it. I had it twice last month, and both times it was equally tasty and generously topped. While it's not the cheapest pizza around, I doubt I could make one of this quality for the same price, especially when compared to a frozen pizza from the grocery store. Get ready to enjoy a great pizza! Don't let the price deter you; it's definitely worth it!

I called the store to voice my concerns and to say that I didn’t want to pay for the pizza. The owner, John, answered the phone, apologized, and genuinely seemed to care about the situation. He explained that it was a busy night and that I had unfortunately received one of their slowest drivers. To make it right, he said he would send me a gift card in the mail. Sure enough, a few days later, the gift card arrived. I am very grateful for John's response. In the business world, it’s not always possible to account for human errors, but I appreciate an owner who takes responsibility and makes things right. Thank you, John! We will be ordering again tonight. Please, never change your recipe—it’s the best!

I love this place. You have a great pizza, but here's the Alfredo sauce. Smooth, creamy, silky... some of the best I ever had. You can mix and combine your favorite pata with different sauce, so you have no excuse not to get to Angeno's.
