Witchcraft - Maple Ridge

We have made this restaurant a regular spot for us. We often bring guests here, dine in regularly, and also get takeout. Our go-to order is always the roasted vegetable sandwich with Kennebec fries, which we absolutely love. The fries are seriously amazing - they are the best we've ever had. The beer selection is also great, with a large variety offered at very reasonable prices.

Empty despite playoff hockey and basketball on the tube. The menu is obviously an attempt to be different but does not read at all as appetizing, especially the first page. They totally lost me when I asked for a tasting of an on tap beer and the server brought me basically a tablespoon measure to taste.

Went to Witchcraft for lunch with my family and friends for a weekend late lunch. First off, they have a great selection of local beers as well choices from around the world. I ordered a flight of beers to start. She asked me what types of beer I like and she made the choices for me. The choices she made were not choices I would have made but the beers were all good. My son ordered the kids pizza. It was back at our table in less than 5 minutes. When you have an 8 year old who isn't patient waiting for food getting his meal that quick is awesome. I ordered the Cuban sandwich. It was a little dry but I still loved it. My wife and her friend ordered a plate of the nachos which were made with kettle chips instead of regular taco chips. Both women thought the meal was amazing. I'm glad we went and I can't wait til we go back.

My family of three had dinner at Witchcraft last night. It was our first time there and we went based on friends recommendations. We ordered the buffalo chicken kettle nachos (full order) even though the server advised it was a large portion. We did finish the order but were pretty full after when our other orders came. We thought the nachos were just ok with not a lot of flavour. I realized after we ate them that there was Frank's hot sauce in a bottle on the table beside the ketchup which would have livened them up for sure. My 16 year old son ordered the buffalo chicken mac and cheese which he enjoyed (took 3/4 of it home since he was stuffed.) My wife ate his salad which she enjoyed. My wife and I were splitting the breaded chicken burger but she was too full to have any. I ate half and found it way too bland (son ate other 1/2 for lunch next day.) It needed much more mayo so I ended up soaking it in Frank's which made it a bit better. The fries were really good as was the service. Our server was very accomodating and friendly. My wife had a caesar which she liked but noticed a fish bowl drink (server said it was sangria) that she wished she would have ordered instead for a buck or two extra. All in all we will most likely return to try the nachos again along with a fish bowl of sangria.

Food was good, but it was "extremely cold" in the place. The waitress said it was because of the windows. Way too cold to enjoy and the music was blasting. This was 11:30 in the morning. The fireplace did not help. I think the owner is trying to keep the bills down at the e expense of his customers. I did find a small heater which I plugged in and put on our table. Would not go back! Not enjoyable at all.
