Shubies - Marblehead

I love Shubies! Such a fun place to shop has everything you need or want. Wine, cheese, spirits, all kinds of gourmet food, prepared or prepared for the customer. Friendly surroundings. Going to Shubies is an experience. You have to go in and look around - incredible diversity of everything! All kinds of candy, desserts, etc. The best of all!

Nice little store; great for grabbing prepared foods, sandwiches, and snacks. There are also some non-food items which was surprising, but as I understand it, this place has been in business for years. Whatever works. I ordered a California BLT, which came on ciabatta. In addition to the B, L, and T, there was turkey (the most dominant element, in my opinion) and avocado (the California part, I guess). At $12+, it isn’t cheap but it’s a generous serving and the quality of the ingredients are clearly good quality. The turkey is very thin, delicate, and is complemented well by the creamy richness of the avocado and mayo. The crisp bacon adds great textural contrast and smokiness. The ciabatta is light with a satisfying chew. All in all, I’d say that it was certainly worth the price.

Wow! Boujie! I like the sex-neutral bathroom. I like the prepared meals and cheese selection. The prices are exorbitant. I'm just having some leaks from the bakery. I'm afraid when I left because there's an LV lock chain for $265 that just randomly sits loose on a display table? Hey. I'm obviously not marblehead.

Despite the fact that it is about 5000 miles away from home, it remains my favorite deli/sandwich shop. Sad Kovid ended the food in the option, but still great food and lively staff
