Village Roast Beef Seafood - Marblehead

I always make an effort to support local businesses, and this restaurant is one of my go-to places for a roast beef or chicken finger sub. They have consistently met my expectations. Tonight was no exception—it was very good, as always—but I was particularly impressed by the kindness and friendliness of the staff. They engaged in conversation and were genuinely nice. Even the cooks in the back chimed in. I can't stress enough how important kindness and consistency are; they truly make all the difference. Thank you for another wonderful evening!

The service was quick, and the food was served hot. I enjoyed my meal at a nearby park with a beautiful view of the bay, which was lovely. While the setting wasn't extravagant, the shrimp were large and delicious.

You fell off . Food was disgusting I ordered an italian sub, scallops plate, lg fries and lg chicken fingers and steak tip salad. My sub was so soggy it was glued to the paper plate it was wrapped in; My sub was soggy and burned at the same time, the pickles didn't taste like pickles they tasted more like kerosene. Fries were tasteless and soggy. The scallops plate the fries were cold. This place used to be so good. So sad we won't be ordering again we spent over 70 dollars and most the food went into the trash.

I visited this place for the first time a year ago and have since made the drive from Boston several times. Whenever friends come to visit, they always ask to go here. I’m not sure what kind of magic they use in their recipes, but I can never get enough of the Village Beef sandwich!

Have been going here for years usually for fish and chips for $5. They changed hands recently and I noticed portions were much smaller( understandable due to times) Last month I was charged $8.99 for the same small portion. Will not be back it is no longer the inexpensive lunch I've expected
