This is an excellent spot for anyone who likes hiking. It's a 2:30 hrs hike from Hotel Lago di Braies (600 m. ascend). This farm/mountain hut serves drinks and food, all locally made. They bake fresh bread in an outside oven, which smells lovely Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. From the hut you can hike back to Lago di Braies within 2 hrs or make a longer tour (3 hrs) around the Spitzkofel back to the lake. Either way, definitely worth the hike.
