Stuckey's Travel Center - Marietta

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The older woman serving us was unfriendly and seemed completely unwelcoming. When I asked for tomatoes for my burger, she didn't even offer an apology. Throughout the entire visit, she never made eye contact or attempted to smile. The service was far from acceptable. I wouldn't recommend spending your money here if you expect a pleasant dining experience!

The wings are fantastic! They have the best burgers and excellent service. Everything is served hot, and there’s a wide variety of menu options. Asad is an outstanding employee who ensures that every meal is memorable.

I just stopped here for a break and grabbed a bite to eat. The guy behind the counter was really friendly and made an amazing burger called the Big Poppy. It was definitely worth the money. I also found a great souvenir to take home.

You're gonna advertise pizzas and burgers around the clock. When entering the shop, the employee sat in a chair behind the checkout. Hadn't spoken, no one recognized anyone coming in. He had food that seemed like it was sitting there for several hours. I asked for a pizza and he said he wouldn't cook tonight. What is the point of making all this advertisement? I don't understand.

There absolutely are no better employees than we met at this Stuckys. They are the very reason this truck stop is getting 4 stars and not 2 or 3 maximum. We were greeted joyfully and waited on better than most restaurants! A.K. (and the young lady working with her whom had an older generation name we forgot) made us the most excellent fresh catfish and Gyros we 've had in some time. The thing we noticed while waiting was both of these ladies treated every customer with the same importance as the one before them. They were gracious and polite and treated my German Shepherd service dog with respect and understanding of the laws regarding service animals. But there are problems most certainly with this location. It reflects an owner who is leaving it to grow old without attending to its needs. The bathrooms are very old, with very few things working and signs of decay. The store is very cramped and might do well getting rid of grocery tourist trap items to provide more items we as truck drivers would like. For example the grocery section is dismal with fresh food items non-existent. Take a suggestion and provide simply clean, modern bathrooms, a better supply of water and drinks, not an entire wall of key chains from China. Lastly the parking lot for semis is pot holed mess that is not welcoming to the truck driver at all. Perhaps concrete might be a good investment? But we would return if guaranteed that these two employees were working there as they deserve an enormous pay raise for making our visit a good one.
