The food was not good and the business looked extremely filthy when I picked it up. Tried it and threw it in the trash immediately.

This was surprisingly good food in a place you might just drive by. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with bell peppers on top and a side of grilled Brussel sprouts in sweet chili sauce. It was really good and I liked the grill taste in both. I recommend getting the sweet chili on the sandwich, too.

The food took a long time to arrive at our table. The chicken and waffles were not what I expected; I got drumettes instead of whole wings. The wings were deep-fried but not breaded, and they lacked seasoning, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, they were burnt. The waffles were excessively sweet. On a positive note, the grits were really delicious.

I just ordered through Uber eats and your food is amazing! I've been ordering out a lot since Covid and I feel like recently, I have to spend an arm and a leg to receive even subpar tasting food. But this is probably the best food I've had with Uber eats and the pricing was perfect. That mac and cheese is probably the best I've ever had. True southern cooking from the heart. Thank you! I've never left a review for food, but I definitely had to say something. Hoping for all the success to your business. I'm definitely ordering here again. I literally only created a Yelp account to say this, that's how good it was lol

Chef Q and the team truly excel in every item you can choose from the dinner menu or the Sunday brunch menu. The brunch, in particular, deserves a perfect 10/10; my absolute favorite dish is the Cajun shrimp and grits. The staff works efficiently, balancing both restaurant guests and catering orders. Overall, it’s a top-notch experience at The Eating Spot, whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying everyday meals like burgers, wings, and fries.
