Salt Wood Kitchen And Oysterette

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is incredibly delicious, my girlfriend loved it so much that she went back the following day. The service was rated at 8 out of 10, but aside from that, everything else was superb. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 5 out of 5.

Relaxing atmosphere; super great food, didn't have to wait to get our order, and staff was pleasant. Definitely plan on making the drive out there at least 4 times a year.

On a Saturday night, we arrived early for our 7pm reservation at this restaurant. We were seated promptly, but unfortunately, the water tasted strange, possibly due to an excess of chlorine. Our order of three oysters dressed, seasonal squash soup, and artichoke and crab dip took 30 minutes to arrive, only to be served cold. The soup and dip were icy and the grilled bread was also cold. The oysters were overcooked and inedible. When offered to have the food reheated, we declined and decided to leave. The restaurant kindly took care of the bill since we were unable to eat anything.

This restaurant is exceptional, providing one of my best experiences in the US. The jazz evening added to the already great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. The service was a bit rushed, but overall, a fantastic meal. Dinner cost approximately $50-100 per person. I would rate the food a 5, service a 4, and atmosphere a 5.
