Hotel Gasthaus Zur Krone - Markdorf

Dann heißt es ab in die Krone...Das eindeutig beste Gericht, welches es zu bestellen gilt, ist das Bier von der Ruppaner Brauerei. Und dann das 'Schimmele'.

Ottimo gasthaus a conduzione famigliare, con abbondanti piatti della tradizione locale , atmosfera tipica: al piano superiore il coro del paese faceva le prove; servizio cortese e prezzi davvero onesti. Consigliato a chi cerca un menù autentico.

Gemütliches Wirtshaus, umfangreiche Karte mit regionalen Spezialitäten. Die Qualität war eher durchschnittlich. Die Spätzle waren sehr schwer, die Bratensoße sehr fettig und wenig gewürzt. Der Service zügig und freundlich.

We ate and slept there (although we wished we had done the latter somewhere else). Had dinner at their restaurant as the advertised food on the blackboard outside looked interesting and the prices within our budget. Our group did enjoy the regional meal selections. The "Leberkaese" was especially good.

I was there with some friends at evening. sitting outside in the beergarden is okay if you don't mind the traffic.Service is okay, sometimes it seems the staff is annoyed by the orders. Beer is okay, prices are compared to other venues in the city fair. I had Wurstsalat. The sauce was too sour, it was just vinegar I think. On the bread I discovered mold. That should not happen in a restaurant.
