Cafe Hollywood - Markham

A lot of variety to choose. Good for quick breakfast or lunch Hong Kong Style. Do not expect a gourmet food here. The price is very reasonable. My favorite for a quick bite. Can be very crowded with long line up during lunch on Sunday.

This place is a real mish-mash of styles and cultures, which would work just fine in Hong Kong, but certainly not in North America. The eclectic menu boasts an array of dishes ranging from Korean to Chinese to Italian to Portuguese to Malaysian to Western. They try to do so many things that they end up not doing anything particularly well. The Cantonese Style Fried Noodle (kwantung chau hor) was mediocre, the Korean beef in stone pot (bibimbap) was bleaaah, and nothing else really stood out in a positive way. Overall a very forgettable experience..

My family had a wonderful time there for lunch. The food is good and the price is reasonable. the fried chicken wings, hong kong style, is really crispy and tasty. The large pitch of lemon tea is also satisfying.

Wonderful food and nice location. Frankly customer service. Clean and well maintained place for all the ages of peoples.
