Bidra med feedbackWe returned to this restaurant for my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience! We opted for a selection of dishes to share, which worked out perfectly. For appetizers, we chose crispy chicken, calamari, Thai fresh rolls, and fish cakes. Each dish was generously portioned and beautifully presented. For our main courses, we ordered Khao Soi beef, Pad Gra Prow, Royal Pad Thai chicken, and pineapple fried rice. We initially considered adding another dish, but our server advised us that what we had ordered was more than enough. The birthday surprise with the cake was a delightful end to my celebration. I truly enjoyed the entire experience, and our server was exceptional from start to finish, explaining the 18% gratuity for parties of 5-12 people. My wife loves Thai cuisine, and we arrived around 4:30 p.m. when the restaurant was quite calm. The décor inside is warm and inviting, creating a vibe reminiscent of a street bar in Chiang Mai. The menu is accessed via a QR code, so be aware that dine-in prices are higher than takeout prices; I mistakenly checked takeout prices first. We ordered the green curry chicken for $19.00, Khao Soi noodles with chicken for $19.00, spring rolls for $5.00, and fish cakes for $10.00. The fish cakes were marinated in red curry paste, deep-fried, and served with a sweet tamarind sauce. Though the fish cakes didn’t look like the images on the menu—perhaps due to older frying oil— they were delicious and well-flavored, with nice presentation and garnish. The spring rolls were crispy and accompanied by a homemade chili sauce. They were tasty, but I wish the portions were bigger. The green curry was served in a charming mini pot, loaded with vegetables like bamboo shoots, carrots, broccoli, and bok choy—again, beautifully presented. The rice was shaped like a Buddhist temple. The Khao Soi noodles were very appealing, topped with a hard-boiled egg cut in half and crispy noodles on top for dipping. Overall, we had a wonderful culinary experience at this restaurant. The dishes were not only stunningly plated but also packed with rich and intense flavors. I look forward to returning to explore more dishes. The pineapple fried rice seems to be a favorite since we noticed every table ordering it! If you’re in the Markham area, definitely give this Thai restaurant a try. Despite the unpleasant interaction, the food was delicious and definitely among the better Thai options available in the area, which can be hard to find. This is a solid choice for Thai cuisine. As for parking, there are plenty of spots available, although it can sometimes be a little tricky to find one.
This restaurant is quite busy, and we had to wait 20 minutes for a walk-in since reservations aren't accepted. The food was tasty, although the pint of beer seemed a bit small. It's somewhat pricey, but it's worth a visit if you're in the area.
Decided to try this place out for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We had the Khao Soi, Royal Pad Thai, and Basil Stir Fry with coconut rice. Loved it all. It was so good and the portions were great. Service was friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options. Almost every dish had the option of being made vegetarian.
