Chocolay River Brewery - Marquette

We had an excellent dining experience with fantastic service. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious—perfect for a work break. I highly recommend trying the blueberry beer and the Iron Fish Caramel Old-Fashioned. The cheese and sausage appetizer was a standout, and the bride dish was delightful as well. Don’t forget to add the horse hard mayo! The Superior Burger was incredibly juicy, and the fresh cuts were exceptional. We can’t wait to return for more deliciousness!

We dined here for dinner and were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived. The restaurant was clean and beautifully designed. The staff was incredibly friendly. The food was excellent; I enjoyed the ribs, fries, and smoked Gouda mac and cheese, while my husband had a salad and smoked sausage. Both meals were served hot and tasted great.

I wish I could give this place more stars! The food was incredible! The brisket was so tender and juicy that it practically melted in my mouth. Your homemade BBQ sauce is honestly the best I've ever tasted. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. There was live music that added to the atmosphere—very enjoyable. Now, back to the food... we happened to visit on rib night, and it was a delightful surprise! The ribs were perfectly smoked—just absolutely delicious! They were so tender and juicy, and the horseradish sauce paired wonderfully with them. The beer selection was well-rounded and tasty. If you’re a fan of stouts, particularly barrel-aged ones, you have to try the Griffin Claw—it was outstanding and hard to come by, so I was thrilled to have the chance to sample it. The blueberry white beer was also particularly impressive. We'll definitely make the three-hour drive back to the Marquette area just to enjoy another meal here!

This place rocks! Spencer and Mike made the bar a great place and the food was as fantastic as the beer! Do not miss first-class ribnacht or brisket with best ever smoked Gouda Mac and cheese. Also love the pour your own bar and the house brewing red Ale. Delicious!

Wow, Wow Wow!! Incredible food and drinks. Tonya and their entire staff are very friendly and give excellent customer service. We had our mini-family reunion dinner at the Lake Superior Smokehouse Brewpub before Thanksgiving. Plenty of seating and they pushed together a bunch of tables to accommodate our larger group of 14 for dinner. Everything on the menu was a homerun. I even returned on Saturday to enjoy their Prime Rib dinner which is only offered Saturday nights starting at 5:30pm. Plus they have live music on Saturday night! This is a must visit location if you are in the area. A
