Papa John's Pizza - Marrero

I spent nearly $50 on two pizzas and an order of breadsticks, but I was disappointed to find that the Marinara sauce I received was barely enough to cover the bottom of the small container. I called the restaurant to request a bit more sauce, and I expressed that I would appreciate a resolution, either by sending someone back with more sauce or allowing me to use the credit on another visit. I felt frustrated enough that I considered giving them a zero-star rating, which I truly didn't want to do.

The restaurant closes its orders two hours before delivery, even though it’s only a two-minute drive away. They wouldn’t even hand me the pizza at the door. When I asked how long the delivery would take, I was told it would be two hours. I can't understand why that is! I ended up having to go to Pizza Hut instead. Clearly, they know what they’re doing.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant on August 3, 2020, at 5:00 PM. After placing my order, the staff member who assisted me went above and beyond to ensure I got exactly what I needed. I also appreciated that the subcontractor was very respectful and wore his mask, and I returned the courtesy by wearing mine as well. Overall, the service was outstanding, and I want to give kudos to the entire crew on shift at 5:00 PM!
