Chicken Ville - Marrickville

The prices at this restaurant are significantly higher than what I have seen online for similar chickenburgers. The basic chicken prices are also above average. My peri peri chickenburger was decent, with a slightly chewy texture. It was better than Oporto but not as good as the burgers at other places in Petersham. The portion size was smaller than Oporto's but larger than Petersham's, yet the price was higher than both.

I highly recommend The Ironie in Chickenville for their delicious roast pork roll with a crispy and flavorful crust! They truly understand and appreciate the simple pleasures in life. The crispy skin, juicy meat, and perfect crunch will have you falling in love with each bite, especially when dipped in their savory gravy. Definitely a must-try!

This restaurant is a great option for a quick meal, offering a variety of healthier options as well as delicious hearty menu items that are a step above your typical takeaway shop. I decided to try the veggie burger, which was filled with roasted vegetables and overall quite tasty. I think adding avocado, vegan coleslaw, and vegan cheese would enhance the flavor even more. They do not pre-dress their salads with milk-based dressings, allowing customers to customize their salads to suit their preferences. The standout dish for me was the chips - perfectly seasoned and crispy. The wait time is reasonable unless it's a busy period, and there is ample seating available inside.

The irony of coming into Chickenville for a Roast Pork Roll with crackling and gravy!!!! You know its the simple pleasures in life that make it worth living! Tender meat, crunchy crackling and a bun that was destroyed on first bite with the pool of gravy dumped into it! Love it
