Bidra med feedbackThe deli on the third floor offers a wide variety of items, with Paesanella's ricotta being a standout favorite. There are plenty of other products available from them and other producers as well. On my way out, I decided to stop at the cafe. Although it may not be the most organized place, the food and coffee were fantastic. The toasted croissant I ordered featured their delicious mozzarella and a generous amount of ham, making it a great value when paired with a strong and flavorful coffee.
You have to try the penne puttanesca, it is rich in flavor. The pizza is also great. We ordered the margherita with buffalo cheese and it was delicious. I will definitely come back; both the pasta and pizza are amazing.
Came in for a brunch with my son ... We had the bacon egg panini with fresh haloumi rocket $10.50 the Avocado smash with avocado, lemon on sourdough $13.00 a Latte. Food was great (although took a bit of time coming out there were only 2 other patrons) but the Latte was a complete flop and I couldn't drink it. Very bitter tasting when I mentioned it to gentleman at the counter, he said that's the sort of coffee it was but they were changing it Monday would be serving ILLY. We'll have to test the waters out again. We also bought 2 nutella donuts to take away $4.50ea I was given a cannoli for the bad coffee. Nice of them although I said it wasn't necessary
We visited this restaurant for a casual lunch and decided to share all the dishes. We tried the gnocchi, Arancini balls, and the tomato bruschetta, and all of them were delicious. The waitstaff were also very attentive and provided excellent service.
Everyone comes here for the ricotta. It's what Paesanella is known for making the freshest ricotta around. They have a great deli upstairs full of cheese, antipasto and pasta. And downstairs a cafe that takes advantage of the ricotta. We had a slice of ricotta cake, a ricotta panzerotti, parmagiano and herb scrambled eggs with bacon on sourdough, choc brownie, coffee and freshly squeezed juice. The cheesy scrambled eggs were really delicious, and the parmagiano so fresh and bitey, the ricotta cake served with fresh cream scrumptious. But the standout was the panzerotti like a cinnamon donut pastie filled with ricotta absolutely delectable. Don't sit down here without trying one. Friendly staff too.
