Maison Mv - Marseille

My wife and I had dinner here on our first night in Marseilles. We both had the Burrata which was smooth and creamy with a nice salad it was big enough to share, a selection of Tomatoes would have enhanced the dish more. I had Poisson du jour which was locally caught and a good meaty fish with vegetables and an excellent celeriac mash. My wife had the bouillabaisse, fish element was good but too many potatoes and stew too thick. We didn’t have dessert, sharing a starter would be the key here! Very pleasant local beer and wine, white Rose. Waiters were attentive and pace of service was about right We sat outside and it was busy but the Road and passers by were not obtrusive Overall a good experience.

Overall a good restaurant, the staff is amazing. The starter Assiette de supions was excellent. The main dishes: le poison du jour was good, but I was disappointed by my choice Notre façon bouillabaisse which was tasteless. I had a similar dish a day after in another restaurant (for comparison) and it was excellent. The fish was fresh and of good quality in both dishes though.

Not a lot of choices on the map but so much better because actually homemade sign. Nice reception and professional service. Very good cuisine with quality products. Viognier is also very quali. Beautiful address in a tourist area.
