The Marulan General Store

Cute, neat and pretty general store. Friendly staff. They have coffee, desserts, breakfast and lunch options. I'll definitely come back when we're in the area.

As our preferred option was closed we tried out this location for a morning coffee and found it very satisfactory. The service was friendly and the coffees nice, though not as strong as I would like for a double shot. There was a limited choice of cakes but it is a general store with a wide range of foodstuffs, magazines etc. The seating is comfortable and the view of the historic Royal Hotel opposite is appealing. This is a more authentic choice than the service centre down the road.

Forget the service centres and their plastic imitations. Head off the highway and enjoy some country hospitality with generous service and tasty food. Easy parking. A great option for a drive from Canberra or other distant locations. Aim to arrive at a meal time and enjoy the food and then explore the village.

Very great friendly staff. Very welcoming. Prices are a little high but is to expected in a small town

Worth a peak. We bought a locally made Xmas pudding. Looking forward to trying it. Seemed to have good fresh fruit and most other items you may need.
