Ripples on the Res - Maryborough

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, especially for those who are vegetarian.

The menu at this restaurant was the least creative that I have encountered in a long time.

Sitting beside a fire, soaring ceiling overhead with its massive beams, whilst looking out at the lake surrounded by the forest enjoying a red wine in winter. This is as good as it gets. We dined for lunch. The menu is simple fare but very well done and keenly priced. I had duck on a bed of lightly grilled vegetables lightly intermingled with some cous cous. Delightful and all for $18. Insane. Followed by excellent coffee and cakeJaquie and staff deliver excellent service, and are great to have a chat with. This is a lovely welcoming venue with staff who create a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

I finally had the chance to visit Ripples by the Res for breakfast and it was a fantastic experience. The cozy mud brick building with a warm open fire offers amazing views. The service was friendly and fast, and the breakfast menu was excellent. I highly recommend trying the Big Breakfast as it is incredibly large. My partner loved her fluffy omelette. They also offer a great selection of teas, perfect coffee, and fresh juices. I highly recommend stopping by this place - you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful setting on the outskirts of town. Warm fire. Excellent variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff with a great atmosphere. Regular place for weekend brunch.
