Quite possibly the finest dining experience of my life!My friend and I were seated at a table near a window, although it was pretty much too dark by this time to appreciate the scenic vista outside. Greeted by Shannan, our principal server, who was fantastic, we ordered some house specialty cocktails. My companion tried a floor and I had a Heaven Sent. Both were excellent, highquality cocktails.We had appetizers of escargot first timers! and calamari, both of which were delicious beyond description. Sliced bread is served with whipped butter. On this evening, the choices were whole wheat and white. I tried one of each, and found it to be pretty ordinary.A palatecleansing intermezzo was served prior to the entrees. This was a light, creamy, cold sauce with a neutral taste and a pea in it, perhaps two ounces. For entrees, my friend chose the Wehpittituck Farms Berkshire Pork, which she loved. I had the Dry Aged Rib Eye Steak. I ordered it medium, and although it was cooked somewhat unevenly, about onethird of it was mediumwell, the steak was tender and moist throughout with a unique and flavorful seasoning. The entrees are basically a la carte, although they did come with some interesting accessories. We also shared an accompaniment of sauteed carrots, which were excellent. With our entrees, we enjoyed some wine, a glass of Stellina di Notte Pinot Grigio for my companion, and I had two glasses of Trefethen Merlot, which complimented the beef entree very nicely.By this point, we were sated but decided to indulge in dessert anyway, as we were celebrating her birthday. She chose a raspberrychocolate cake or torte, which I believe was an offmenu addition, lovingly served with a birthday candle and a happy birthday chocolate bar. I had the Chocolate Irish Cream cake. We shared a Snickerdoodle coffee to top it all off.The cost of this hour feast, excluding gratuity, was and I would do it again

Attended a conference at Foxwoods for the past days. Took business clients to dinner at Foxwood’s Vue restaurant on the floor. It was too late to enjoy the view, but all enjoyed the wonderful food and service. Menu has something for all. Very pricey, per entree, but very enjoyable
