Ghelfi's Candies Ice Cream - Mashpee

This place offers a great selection of candies and chocolates that you can purchase by weight. The ice cream is delicious as well!

It's a lovely little shop in the commons with friendly staff. I tried some delicious fudge while I was there.

I've visited Ghelfi's in Mashpee Commons several times in the past. While some experiences have been pleasant, the quality seems to have declined recently. The ambiance of the place is nice. Today, my partner and I stopped by, and while the employee greeted us and asked if we needed anything, she spent a lot of time on her phone. I chose a selection of gummy candies, chocolates, and jelly beans from the self-serve wall, but they were not fresh. I understand that self-serve can introduce hygiene issues, so I wasn't too surprised by the stale candy. My boyfriend ordered ice cream, which wasn’t particularly impressive—it melted quickly, even inside the store. Additionally, I found the fudge to be extremely overpriced at $20 per pound. We inquired whether the chocolate was made fresh by Ghelfi's, and although we could tell it wasn't due to its outdated flavor, the employee confidently said yes. She may not have been aware, though. I dislike leaving such a negative review, but it seems the love and effort just aren’t there anymore. If they make improvements, I’ll be willing to give them another chance. Best wishes to Ghelfi's.

AMAZING! In town for a local conference and happened upon this chocolate store. Loved this idyllic home town chocolate store. Huge assortment of candies and chocolates. Ice cream options, as well. If you're looking for a sweet treat to wrap up an evening out or gifts to take home from your visit to Falmouth, this is the place to visit! Planning to send these chocolates out for the holidays!

Great spot for kids/families. Delectable treats, in a walk-around friendly environment. Mashpee commons is a must destination when on the Cape!
