Bidra med feedbackCall ahead! You need to reserve your table specially on Friday's when they have live music. It's a small spot totally worth the trip to Matagalpa, Nicaragua . They have toys for small kids but because it's such a small place, I would suggest not taking small kids on Friday's. Pizza is great at a great price. We got a shrimp and cheese large pizza at 387 cordobas (10 USD) and large a ham, pepperoni and mushrooms at 350 cordobas (9usd). The pizzas are thun crust pizzas and they use real mozzarella cheese. Really tasty. You can purchase alcohol (rum, beer, vodka) as well if that's your thing. There is indoor smoking allowed so you are forewarned.
I came here yesterday with my fiancé following the reviews on multiple online sources in hopes that they’d be accurate. Iv traveled the world and the best part of traveling is the food and people. (I speak fluent Spanish and English) We walked in to see a very nicely decorated green environment. Our server seemed very busy and forgot to mention his name. We looked over the menu and surrounding embracing every moment. Our server then came back and asked if we had made our choices. We asked him to come back in a couple of minutes. 13 minutes later he came back. We both ordered the New York steak. He nodded and didn’t ask us what temp we wanted them. So I asked if they could. He said yes, distracted looking back many times at the table that was ordering drinks. (This is understandable I’m sure he was making sure they were satisfied) We ordered a shrimp cocktail as a starter and two micheladas to wash everything down. I got up after some time after we got out micheladas to get straws. I was told by the server that they didn’t have any straws. The cocktail was miniature but had great taste, the steaks were good, the temperatures fairly accurate and size adequate. The mashed potato side was creamy and well portioned. The michelada was very good, better than most mixes in the area. At this point I would have given 4 stars. We never even got napkins. A friend joined us and she decided to order a chelada. Our server must have gotten lost, he came back over 10 minutes later. We contemplated on paying and leaving. I decided to stick around I know the service in Nicaragua isn’t the best. Once she got her chelada we decided on getting a bottle of wine. Less than half way through the bottle a person who seemed to be the owner or manager came to our table and told us the restaurant would close in 15 minutes because the employees needed to rest. I’m not a restaurant owner but I do own multiple small businesses, and one thing Iv learned when it comes to business is not to make excuses for matters that are irrelevant to the customers/clients. I was completely and utterly turned off by this persons way of handling this situation. We left unsatisfied and disappointed, we left two full glasses of wine on the table because the employees needed to rest. I will never come here again. If you want to have a couple of brews have a nice background for pictures and be hurried out this is the place to go. If you want to dress up nice enjoy a meal and get the best service one can get don’t come here.
This place is just great for those who like to get with friends and have a nice talk for hours. It has both a patio and an inner area, accompanied with good music or live music (sometimes) that makes the experience even better. They serve a lot of Italian dishes, and their pizzas are really good, while service is fast and welcoming, given the fact that the place is not that big. The atmosphere overall, with the garden like patio and peculiar paintings in the inside, transmits a calm aura.
So pleasantly surprised by this place. Food was really delicious, reasonable priced, lovely atmosphere/setting and a live band was playing (Friday night). Only complaint is that I cannot go again!
Beautiful place with great food and nice staff! The place was quite full both Nicas and Tourists.
