Poco Playa Fish Camp - Matagorda

I have been to this restaurant one other time and was very pleased. I live in the Kingwood area about 2 hours from this location. I drove down there on the weekend to take my girlfriend and when we got there they were closed due to remodeling. No issues with a company being closed to make there establishment better however I do believe it should be posted on there website as temporarily closed so someone doesn't drive that far for no reason. And on the website it showed it was open. And it still does today.

Nobody would answer the phone guessing this place is shut down.

Always a good pit stop going or coming from the beach. Needed a little more help.

I have been here 4 times, and it is always the same. Nice place, good food, nice wait staff, but severely understaffed. The owners need to either be onsite or they need to schedule more servers. 2 hours to get served taco’s and a burger on a Tuesday evening? 1 server on New Year’s Eve? The people you are hiring represent you well. Give them a chance to be successful! We will be back, but hope to see improvements
