Crystal Garden Chinese Restaurant

There are a couple of Chinese restaurants in the area, but Crystal Garden is by far our favourite. Tried the chicken chow mein this visit and it was delicious. Always flavoursome, fresh and fast, we are never disappointed.

My partner and I visit often and we are never disappointed with the food or service. The owner and her staff are always friendly and helpful tayloring meals to suit individual dietry needs. Tonight we had san choi bow for an entree pne serve for enough to the two of us and we shared shredded beef, satay prawns and lemon boneless chicken with fried rice for main. There was enough to take some home for another meal. All of the dishes we have had over the years have been fabulous well done guys ☺

We menulog-ed on Australia Day. First time we have ordered from here. My husband has a severe mushroom allergy. He wrote this on the order and followed up with a call to the restaurant to confirm that no mushrooms were included in our order. No problem they said. Instead when the dishes arrived one of them had mushrooms buried at the bottom of the dish! We called the restaurant immediately, the lady was very unhelpful, she said she wrote no mushroom on the order, which yes, she had. She refused to believe there was mushroom in the dish. We offered for them to come collect the dish as proof. She declined, and said well I don't know what I can do. We suggested she refund our $$, she only offered to refund the dish with mushroom, we will wait to see what happens there. My husband had already eaten off the top of it. We now face a night of vomiting, thanks to their lack of attention, however their non caring attitude it what remains with us. Taste of other dishes was average at best, will never order from here again. Encourage others to stay away, we have no issue with other restaurants when we mention the allergy.

Been going to this restaurant for a very long time. Quality [food/service] has been consistent over the years. Atmosphere always good..dinner parties can get a bit noisy but which restaurant [around the globe] doesn't? Easy to get to by car..easy parking or public transport...bus

I frequently order from Crystal Garden. It's a favourite in my family and their food is always enjoyable. If I could recommend anything on the menu, it'd be their Mongolian Lamb or lemon chicken...neither disappoint. The only thing that could be improved on is that they tend to fill a lot of their dishes with only onions. I understand the need for fillers in dishes, but some mixed vegetables wouldn't go astray. I've never eaten in at this restaurant but it always looks like a nice, clean and friendly place to visit so I'm sure it would be a lovely dining experience.
