Qdoba Mexican Eats - Matthews

I had an incredibly disappointing dining experience! The menu seemed to consist mainly of a few toppings—jalapeños, onions—and the beverage options were severely limited due to issues with the soda machine. To make matters worse, they ran out of sweet tea before we even finished our meal. The customer service was lackluster at best. We used to enjoy coming here, but it's hard to say we will return unless they make some improvements. Overall, it just wasn't worth the money.

The portion sizes are definitely worth the price. The staff is incredibly friendly and quick. My only concern is that the health rating was a bit alarming—it was just under 90, to put it mildly—but the food I had was fantastic!

I understand why the plumbing score is 90, but it should be lower. An employee used a dirty rag to clean the station while preparing food, and the food stations themselves were not clean. Raw paprika was left out in the open, and it was evident that many ingredients had been sitting for a while. The queso was watery and overly salty. Instead of providing fresh guacamole, the worker attempted to scrape the sides of the container. It's hard to know what the actual prices are since they use paper strips on the menu. The staff at the checkout was the only friendly part of my experience. I'm done with Qdoba.

The service was slow. They had neither water nor tea. The rating is a 90 and that may have been generous if it looked so bad. The chicken was hardly warm. My son and I felt sick immediately after dinner. Qdoba used to be one of my favorites, but unfortunately we will not go there again!

Most likely will not be back. Sanitation rating of 90. Menu prices are not the same as register prices. When I asked about it the cashier said their prices had changed. Even if they had, they should update the menu board to reflect the new prices. Food tasted fine however the freshness of some ingredients was questionable (lettuce was browning)
