My husband and I visited from out of state, and this was one of our favorite eateries. The food ample, so we had leftovers, and the customer service, excellent.I would recommend to use an unscented sanitizing agent because Lysol isn't good for our lungs.

Didn't get my entire order. I asked for the beans and rice in a separate container and didn't get it at all.

Had an awesome date-night here with the wife! Drinks on special were some tasty margaritas. We each ordered a special pollo el rey for me and she had a giant (no lie) steak burrito. She got 2 meals from it! I wasn 't willing to leave mine for later, but I probably should 've.The service was very good, but bland. No real flare, just efficient and abbreviated. Not bad, but kinda blah.Definitely be back again. Seems like everyone is chasing the latest at other places, but this Mattoon classic is just as good as I remembered!

I had the steak fajita quesidilla and it was phenomenal. The service was awesome, staff was exceptional.
