42nd Street Cafe - MAWSON LAKES

I ordered a GF Steak burger with the lot and a side of chips takeaway I received a GF Steak sandwich It was cold, soggy and flavourless.

Having had good experiences with another store of this chain, we arrive for afternoon coffee and cake with high hopes, and are not disappointed. The dining area is quite large, bit with a very high ceiling, giving a feeling of spaciousness. There is no intrusive music, and conversation from neighbouring tables is lost in the ether. Our table by the window has a wide open outlook which is pleasant. There is a fine collection of cakes on offer, the service is friendly, and our order is quickly delivered to our table. The drinks are fine, and the lemon meringue slice with cream and ice cream is to die for!

The team at 42nd street cafe Mawson Lakes is always super friendly and helpful. The menu changes are great. Also way happy to help out in any way.

We've been regulars here since they first opened and after some ups and downs they eventually got it all together and we've been enjoying the experience ever since. Went for lunch again today and discovered a new menu - our favourites are all gone - even the hot dog. However, today's special included a hot dog with gourmet pork sausage - an absolute rip off. Don't try and cheat your customers - nothing gourmet about the very badly cooked sausage. Even the milk shakes have had a shake up - not really certain what this has all been in aid of. It has always been busy and hard to get a seat but today the place was almost empty - I wonder if there are more regulars who will now be looking for another place to spend their money!

My favourite meal of the day is breakfast ,thus i always go to this cafe whenever i go to uni for a good start to my day.Ifrequent this place as whenever i find a good place for a favourite meal i tend to go there over and over again.The breakfast is always hot and scrumptious.Very affordable and something to look forward to.
