D' Tapas - Mayagueez

Came here for a trip and i was totally craving Mexican food in PR. Yes i know i cant ask for Mexican in this country. I'm really giving a good review here. When we walked by they had fajitas on display. So going in i didn't think i was going to get the best but i have to say they were pretty good. The 3 stars is for the cleanness of the restaurant. They seem not to care about where the chairs were. Also the staff seemed a little clueless on what sign they put out in the front. The food took a while to come out. An i had to ask them to warm up the cold tortillas. Id go back but again i wouldn't expect it to be the best for sure as you're in PR.

The worst service I’ve experienced in Puerto Rico. If there was a way to give negative stars I would. We waited an hour for mofongo tostones and empanadilla. We were the only people in there I guess that should have been a clue. When it arrived it had just been cooked, so what had they done for 45-55 minutes? The mofongo was sweet, mofongo is not supposed to be sweet. I had to chase the waitress down to get the check and then interrupt her face time to pay for a meal that was exaggeratedly over priced.

Ok let's begin, the place is not very eye appealing especially with a very loud kareoky in the entrance. Once inside the waitress was very nice. We ordered and the drinks were fast. The food was another story. It took close to an hour before food began arriving. I have to say it was plentiful and tasted good. I had jambalaya and it was good. The only reason I don't give a better rating is because of the long wait.

Great place to eat and drink....staff is excellent...owner is awesome!!!

This place is one of the best of many restaurants in Boqueron Beach, Cabo Rojo. PR. Beautiful Ocean Front Bisinuss. Several karaoke spots. Many beach toys to rent.
