Stocke's Backstreet Cafe, Pub And Grill

I literally could not figure out how to enter the restaurant. There was a Bale of hay in front of what looked like the main entrance and the secondary entrance had a private sign written on it. I understand I'm not the brightest guy in the world but it should've been a bit easier to figure out than that. I ended up going down the street and had a fantastic breakfast.

The service was slow and the food was gross. How is it possible to make Mac Cheese for the kids taste bad? My burrito was buried in lettuce and burnt on the bottom, the pizza burger was lifeless. all four of us were regretting we ate at this restauarant

The Back Street Café is like Mayville's version of a Denny's with a bar attached to it. Service is always decent and the breakfast is great for a hangover that you got the night before from drinking in their bar. Pros: Their food is bar food, it's not 5 star. Their breakfasts are good as well. Cons: My sandwiches usually come overly covered with mayo and unless I ask for it my bacon is charred.

Vacationing in the area and met friends here for lunch. 3 orders of burgers, 1 turkey wrap and they were all great. We sat and talked for 3 hours and no one tried to rush us out the door. Friendly, comfortable and a place we'll go to next time we come through town.

Great food and service. The decor is cheesy, but I would stop again. The potato pancakes are good the prices are very low.
